Abstract:
This paper proposed a prediction model for photovoltaic array power generation on the curved wings of solar-powered unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) at different attitude, accurate prediction of output power was achieved. First, the surface of the wing was divided into three sections, and the power generation of each section was calculated based on the pitch angle of the photovoltaic module installation. The impact of altitude and latitude on the daily output power throughout the year was calculated through specific examples. At the same time, the influence of the flight attitude of the UAV, including yaw angle, pitch angle, and rolling angle, on the output power was analysed. The results indicated that the proposed model could accurately predict the output power, and was of great significance for the optimization of UAV trajectories and energy system control.
