Abstract:
Electrochemical sensing technology has the characteristics of high sensitivity and easy integration, which is widely used in the detection of biological samples with complex composition, and expected to replace expensive and large instruments. This technology is envisaged for the construction of DNA biosensors, which is used to improve the portability and sensitivity of detection devices. While the proliferation of smartphones has made it possible to integrate smart and low-cost DNA biosensing test platforms, it is essential to develop DNA biosensor detection systems with rapid, real-time and accurate detection. This article reviews the application of smartphone-based DNA biosensors in disease diagnosis and discusses the problems, technical challenges and future development directions of existing research results.
