Abstract:
Diamond-like film(DLC) has excellent friction and mechanical properties, as well as good corrosion resistance, histocompatibility and blood compatibility. It can be widely used in orthopedics, cardiovascular and dental fields, and is a promising biomedical material. In order to explore the application potential of DLC in the field of medical materials, scholars have conducted a large number of studies on the anticoagulant and antimicrobial properties of DLC. Based on this, this paper summarizes the successful research on the anticoagulant and antimicrobial properties of DLC, and analyzes the influencing factors of the two properties. A large number of experimental conclusions show that DLC has good anticoagulant performance, and its anticoagulant effect is better compared with other medical materials. In addition, it is found that DLC is not outstanding in antibacterial ability, but it can be made into an ideal inorganic antibacterial film material by doping other elements and changing process parameters. The combination of these two properties makes DLC a possible surface coating for human implant materials. Finally, combining with the application status of DLC in various fields of medical materials, it points out the existing problems in DLC research, puts forward some opinions to solve the problems, and puts forward prospects for the medical application of DLC.
